Submissions Open: In The Can 2026

Submissions open! In The Can is our year end celebration of what our membership has made. It’s free to submit your short film, just make sure you read the guidelines beforehand. Submissions will be open until August 14, 2026. You will be notified of inclusion no later than September 4, 2026. Make sure you read the following guidelines!
- One of the key creatives (producer, director, cinematographer or writer) HAS to be a CSIF member
- CSIF NEEDS TO have been involved in some way (equipment rental, space rental, mentorship, etc)
- Runtime CAN NOT be over 20 minutes
- Film needs to be NO OLDER than two years
- ANY GENRE is accepted
- Fiction or documentary ARE EQUALLY encouraged
- YOU MAY submit multiple projects, but only one per director can be selected
- If not already included, a THANK YOU to CSIF must be in the credits
