At Leighton Art Centre we explore, get inspired by, and learn to respect and protect nature!
Art & Nature Summer Camps, for kids aged 6 – 14*, offer campers a hands-on connection to art, nature and Alberta’s heritage. Each week during July and August, our campers are inspired to create in a wide variety of art forms while exploring our natural setting through nature hikes and outdoor games and activities.
Our historic Education Centre is set on 80 acres of breathtaking rural scenery 20 minutes from south Calgary. Working with small groups of campers, our skilled and enthusiastic instructors present daily activities that encourage creativity, exploration, learning and fun.
* campers must turn 6 by July 1, 2026 to participate in 2026 (no exceptions)
