Calling all artists
We’re opening our 2026 Tea Tin Label Artist Call — our only call for the year. Each season, our tea tins become a small gallery, featuring artwork from artists we admire and want to share with our community.
We’re open to many styles and subjects and are especially drawn to Calgary scenes, nature, tea themes, humour, and thoughtfully presented erotic art. While we appreciate a wide range of creative expressions, we do not accept work that involves political or religious themes. Priority is given to local and Greater Alberta artists.
Artists may submit up to five (5) print-ready images. We feature both horizontal and vertical artwork, with horizontal images wrapping particularly well around the tins. Nothing is ever printed without the artist’s full review, approval, and consent.
Selected artists are paid $0.25 per label printed, credited directly on the tin, featured through our shop and social channels, and invited to a potluck gathering to connect with fellow artists. Upon approval, artists receive a contract that clearly protects their ownership of the artwork.
