Cowboys Music Festival is back for their 30th year, and we’re teaming up with Cowboys Dance Hall to spotlight the next generation of Calgary artists through The Opener, a live music competition built to put local talent on a major stage.
If you’re an up-and-coming YYC artist (solo, band, DJ, rapper, vocalist all genres welcome) and you’ve ever dreamed of performing at one of Calgary’s biggest festivals, this is your moment.
What is The Opener? A multi-week live competition hosted at Cowboys, where selected artists compete for the chance to open at Cowboys Music Festival in front of massive crowds, industry leaders, and fans.
