UNGANISHA: Anti-Black Racism Commitment Project (UABR-CP)

Woezo Africa is seeking emerging Black arts professionals for the UNGANISHA Anti-Black Racism Commitment Project (UABR-CP), a six-month residency designed to develop the next generation of Black leaders in the arts.
Eligibility:
- African, Caribbean, or Black residents of Calgary, aged 19–30, with a passion for arts leadership.
Program Details:
- January – June 2026.
- Participants will engage with leading arts organizations, heritage and park sites, philanthropic partners and business development organizations.
- Residents gain hands-on experience, strengthen leadership skills, expand professional networks, and receive a $3,000 honorarium upon completion.
