About our Programs

Pre-College

Pre-college program is a four-week summer immersive for students age 16+ who want to experience both fine art and design at a university level. Work alongside other talented young artists, build your portfolio and earn university credits that you can apply towards your AUArts degree in your first year.

Pre-College is best for students who:

  • Wish to have a wide body of work to include in a portfolio
  • Want to experiment broadly before choosing a specific creative path
  • Desire to spend more time experiencing university life on campus
  • Wish to go on field trips and learn more about the arts community

Arts-Bridge Pre-University

Arts-Bridge is a short, focused summer program offering students a streamlined introduction to university-level creative study. The program runs for two weeks and includes a combination of hands-on studio learning and university enrichment, helping young creatives build confidence and develop the foundational skills and habits expected in a post-secondary environment.

Arts-Bridge is best for students who:

  • Want to concentrate on one area of interest in either Fine Art or Design
  • Wish to gain additional post-secondary preparation through early career reflection exercises
  • Prefer a more targeted learning experience with extra support preparing for next steps
  • Can’t commit to a full month program due to other summer activities
