Volunteers Needed for Casino Fundraiser
Swallow-a-Bicycle Theatre
Dates: July 20 & 21, 2025
Location: Pure Casino Calgary (1420 Meridian Rd NE)
Volunteers must be at least 18 years old.
Swallow-a-Bicycle Theatre is having its next casino fundraiser on July 20 & 21, 2025, and we need some amazing volunteers! The casino is a major source of funding for us, and we need your help.
Training is provided on-site for all roles by our casino advisors – no experience required! Volunteers will receive a free meal during their shift. We’re also happy to pay for transportation, if you take a taxi/Uber etc. to the casino; just give us your receipt(s), and we will reimburse you.
Note: The day and evening shifts are longer on July 20 than 21, due to July 20 being a weekend. The count room shifts are the same times on both days.
Remember:
- Arrive on time for your shift. If you require transportation to or from the casino, please let us know.
- You are most welcome to volunteer for more than one shift; however, you must work the same position each time. So, if you sign up as a cashier on day 1, you must also work as a cashier on day 2. (Also, no pressure to work two shifts – one is already plenty!).
- Please bring valid picture ID (you will need it for check-in).
- You are prohibited from gambling and consuming alcohol over the two days we are running the casino.
- Bring a book to read or something else to fill the time; it’s a long shift.
