Artist’s Resale Right
This year we celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Artist’s Resale Right, which now exists in over 90 countries worldwide.
On December 9, 2020 CARFAC-RAAV will bring artists together to consider the benefits it brings to visual artists, and to discuss what steps have been taken to bring the Right to Canada.
With new case studies of Canadian auctions to share and an update on where the ARR stands with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), we will discuss what the future for Canadian artists would look like once the Artist’s Resale Right is established here.
