6 Performance Academy

After 10 years of offering voice-over workshops, and two years after adding a greater variety of voice-over classes, on-camera acting classes, and the popular emerging artist summer acting intensive—Six Degrees has formalized a website and academy in order to better serve Alberta artists and emerging artists. The 6 Performance Academy provides high-level and rigorous training in theatre, film, television, and voice-over performance.

It offers a growing variety of classes and workshops that prepare students for a successful career as well-rounded and versatile working actors.

Award-winning industry professionals Christian Goutsis, Chantal Perron, Anna Cummer, Tom Carey, Samantha MacDonald, and Vanessa Holmes serve as the staff of instructors and coaches at Six.

The Academy continues to build and foster relationships with the professional and emerging community of artists, arts organizations, and educational institutions in an effort to grow and sustain a healthy pool of talent in Alberta.
