RICK RACK is looking for artists to participate in a community showcase. This showcase will be part of an event RICK RACK is hosting with Alberta Printmakers as part of September Culture Days.

Artist’s work, along with a small bio and links to social media and sales platforms, will be displayed in the windows of RICK RACK and adjoining businesses on September 16th, 2023. There is no registration fee for this showcase, and participation is voluntary.

Registration deadline: August 10, 2023

If you would like to submit a piece for the showcase, please fill out the above form and make sure that you meet the following parameters:

• Pieces must be no larger than 28″ wide x 55″ long. Artists can submit up to 3 pieces with a combined area no larger than 28″ x 55″.
• Pieces must be able to hang in south or east-facing windows* and must be able to hang from large suction cups.
• Pieces must be dropped off on September 11 or 12 between 9am – 5pm and picked up on September 19 or 20 between 9am – 5pm.
• Pieces must be appropriate for a family-friendly event.

There is no set theme for this showcase, but the event theme is When Print Meets Textiles, with a focus on community and culture.

* Please make sure that submitted pieces are lightfast. RICK RACK is not responsible for any sun damage that may occur.

There are limited spaces available for this showcase. This exhibition is non-juried.

RICK RACK will accept all submissions that adhere to the artwork guidelines, and submission steps. If we receive more submissions than we have space for selection will be conducted by random draw. All experience levels are welcome.
