The Women’s Centre of Calgary is looking for three artists-in-residence for Winter, Spring/Summer and Fall next year (2024). We believe that art is not just about making and viewing beautiful things, but also about speaking out. We are seeking applicants who have used art as a form of resistance or an outlet to express their feelings and community. Whether writing, painting or drawing, we’d love to receive your application. Artists will run bi-weekly workshops at the Women’s Centre. These are paid positions. Newcomer and refugee women are encouraged to apply.
