The Alberta Society of Artists invites all artists in Alberta (must be 18 years of age or older) to submit to the exhibition, Nocturn. Overview The interpretation of the theme is up to the artist. From the Merriam-Webster dictionary: “The origin and etymology of NOCTURN: Middle English nocturne, borrowed from Anglo-French, borrowed from Medieval Latin nocturnus, going back to Latin, feminine of nocturnus ‘of the night.'” Dates: Deadline for Submissions: November 25, 2018 Notification of Results: December 10, 2018 To apply visit albertasocietyofartists.com.
