reCreation Potentials provides instruction to caregivers, family members, activity workers, professional care staff and other therapists in the use of art, music, creative writing and mindfulness/guided imagery for health and wellbeing.
At reCreation Potentials, we are focused on providing therapeutic recreation and expressive arts services with the highest levels of customer satisfaction & we will do everything we can to meet your expectations.
We are constantly researching ways to better serve our clientele and advance the profession of Therapeutic Recreation.
Your clinician/founding therapist has a degree in psychology, board certification as a Registered Clinical Hypnotherapist, a diploma in therapeutic recreation, a diploma in art, education and training in art therapy and expressive arts therapy and a background in nursing and rehabilitation. Memberships in Alberta Therapeutic Recreation Association (Recipient of Broadening Horizons Award), Canadian Therapeutic Recreation Association (Recipient of Innovative Practice Award), Canadian Positive Psychology Association, International Positive Psychology Association, International Expressive Arts Therapy Association, National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners, National Mentors, Therapists and Coaches Association, Transpersonal Therapist Association, International Hypnosis Research Association.
