Beltline Urban Murals Project

The deadline for this opportunity has passed.

Submission Deadline: April 19, 2019
Festival: August 29 – 31, 2019
Mural Painting: August 2019

The Beltline Urban Murals Project (BUMP), presented by the Beltline Neighbourhoods Association, is entering its third year, and we are looking for experienced muralists to install murals in Calgary’s Beltline community.

BUMP is an ongoing initiative to promote public art in the form of murals in Calgary. More murals will be added annually, and the program will expand with new offerings, events and ideas every year.

We believe that public art can enrich communities, create beautiful and captivating places, challenge our ideas, provoke discussion or simply add beauty to our day. We seek a variety of artists, with diverse experiences, backgrounds, styles and techniques that reflect our values of creativity, inclusiveness and beauty.

BUMP is inviting muralists from all countries to submit their qualifications for consideration for the project. Murals will be installed in the months of August and early September.

The Request for Qualifications runs from March 15 to April 19, 2019, 6:00pm MST.
