Birthday Celebration and Fundraiser
Come Celebrate 10 Years of Making Treaty 7!
We just wanted to reach out and spread the word on Making Treaty 7’s upcoming Birthday Celebration! Our incredibly Indigenous-led settler-supported cultural society will be hosting and celebrating its 10th Birthday Party with a fundraising event at The GRAND on February 17, 2023.
Making Treaty 7 is happy to extend this invitation to attend the birthday celebration and fundraiser. The anniversary event will feature live music performances by Juno-award winning blues performer George Leach, acting legend Gary Farmer, the MT7 Band, and a few special surprise guests, as we celebrate our past, present and future of uplifting Indigenous voices. Other live performances include scenes from our past, recent and future shows, Vigil Aunties Burlesque, and well-wishes from MT7 alumni.
Proceeds from this event will go directly toward supporting the upcoming MT7 production of The Ministry of Grace, by Siminovitch-prize winning playwright, Tara Beagan.
