Archived August 9, 2021 Spanish-Speaking Librettist For Elementary School Opera program Calgary Opera is looking for a Spanish-English speaking and writing librettist or playwright to work in our Let’s Create an Opera program. The program, entering its 23rd year, brings professional artists to elementary schools in the city to write, compose and perform an original opera in collaboration with the students. We are seeking a Spanish-English artist to work with a Spanish bilingual school in Calgary this fall from September to November, 2021. This is a contract position. The successful applicant must have experience working with children and have or apply for a clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check.
