Adjudicator Driver
If you love driving and chauffeuring very appreciative adjudicators, this job is for you! Our adjudicators need daily rides to and from the Holiday Inn, on McLeod Trail to the Mount Royal University (MRU) campus. Rental vehicles will be provided to use for transport, volunteers must be able to get to the Holiday Inn/MRU on their own.
Duties: Driving adjudicators to and from their accommodations, ensure timely drop-off and pick-up of adjudicators, ability to adhere to a schedule and performing safe driving practices.
Dates: April 15 – May 4, 2019
Location: Mount Royal University Campus (4825 Mt Royal Gate SW) and the Holiday Inn (4206 Macleod Trail SE)
Shift Options (may change due to class schedules):
Weekdays (Monday – Friday)
- Morning, 7:45 – 9:00am
- Afternoon, 11:45am – 4:00pm
- Evening, 7:45 – 8:45pm
Saturday
- Morning, 7:45 – 9:00am
- Afternoon, 11:45am – 4:00pm
- Evening, 7:45 – 8:45pm
This job is the right fit if you:
- Enjoy city driving.
- Have a valid driver’s license.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Are a minimum of 25 years old.
- Like working with the public.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
Commitment: Standard volunteer commitment is a minimum of three shifts during the festival season, driver shifts can vary as driving times and traffic are not consistent. Driver commitments will be further discussed with volunteers chosen for this role.
