Calgary Queer Church is looking for new members of our music team! Our musicians lead the service in meaningful songs that connect to each month’s theme.
Calgary Queer Church was founded in 2015 by a group of people passionate about making worship and spiritual discussion accessible to the LGBTQ community through afternoon and evening programming, engaging topics, and exciting dialogues. In 2017, Calgary Queer Church received funding from St Andrew’s Regional Ministries, and in 2018, funding from the United Church Foundation.
There is one monthly service, typically on the first Sunday of each month. The musician/accompanist will work with the music leader and perform music for Calgary Queer Church services at a rate of $200 per service. The musician/accompanist should also be able to work alone in the event that the music leader is unable to make a service.
