Archived June 4, 2021 Call for Board Members EMMEDIA Gallery & Production Society is seeking new members for our board of directors! We are looking for dedicated individuals with a passion for the media arts to help take EMMEDIA to the next stage of our development. No prior board experience required! This is a volunteer position, working to provide oversight and direction to the EMMEDIA staff. We welcome all interested parties, and are particularly seeking those with experience with media arts, budgets, and/or human resources. Please note that to maintain our charitable status, board members cannot receive compensation from EMMEDIA, whether that be from the presentation of art, teaching of workshops, or otherwise. Responsibilities: Serve a renewable two-year term which will be ratified in October 2021. Attend monthly board meetings (currently via video conference calls). Provide guidance and oversight to the staff. Option to serve on one or more committees. Assist with fundraising activities. Support programming and other events.
