New Works Calgary is a non-profit presenting organization with 40+ years of experience presenting exploratory music in Calgary.

We’re looking for engaged board members who are passionate about fostering our local arts community and infrastructure. Excitement about underground music is a desirable attribute!

A series of monthly public, free outdoor soundwalks

General Board Commitments:

  • One board meeting per month, generally occurring over Zoom. Meetings generally take one hour.
  • One Annual General Meeting per year, in-person meeting at a restaurant or pub.
  • Occasional volunteer commitments such as helping out with photography, tickets and ushering at shows.
  • Support keeping our beautiful website up to date.
Specific Skills

We’re looking for general board members, but we are especially looking for a new Treasurer. If this role interests you, please indicate this in your application.
