Mural Installation – August 2020

Submission Deadline: Friday, April 3, 2020, 6:00pm MST

The Beltline Urban Murals Project (BUMP), presented by the Beltline Neighbourhoods Association, is entering its fourth year, and we are looking for experienced muralists to install murals in Calgary’s Beltline community.

BUMP is an ongoing initiative to promote public art in the form of murals in Calgary. More murals will be added annually, and the program will expand with new offerings, events and ideas every year.

We believe that public art can enrich communities, create beautiful and captivating places, challenge our ideas, provoke discussion or simply add beauty to our day. We seek a variety of artists, with diverse experiences, backgrounds, styles and techniques that reflect our values of creativity, inclusiveness and beauty.

BUMP is inviting muralists from all countries to submit their qualifications for consideration for the project. Murals will be installed in August 2020. RFQ details can be found at beltlinemurals.ca/create.

The request for qualifications runs from March 1 to April 3, 2020, at 6:00pm MST.
