This is a call for Black/POC (African Diaspora) artists in Alberta region to be featured in a comprehensive catalogue and presented at Reverse Racism on February 6, 2020.

Black Liquorice Studios is an artist collective who aims to uplift and reveal artistic work by women, femmes, 2 Spirited, queer, transgender, and non-binary individuals in the black community.

This call is to help create and provide opportunities to unrepresented artists in all disciplines, in the hope to establish presence, promote future collaborations, and assert socially relevant conversations through creative conjure.

Please email your artist bio or statement and low res image samples of your work in order to be considered.
