PARK(ing) Day

The Cit of Calgary has opened applications for PARK(ing) Day 2019 in Kensington. Showcase your design and placemaking ideas this September by turning a parking stall into a public space for the day.

We have some big additions to the event this year.

We’re partnering with the Alberta Association of Landscape Architects (AALA) who will be hosting the jury panel for admission and the following awards:

  • Most interactive
  • Most creative
  • Most colourful
  • Judge’s choice

Plus there will be a people’s favourite award (determined through social media and on-site voting).

AALA will also be hosting an official PARK(ing) Day after-party. More details to come.
