International Avenue Public Art Project

The City of Calgary Public Art Program has an exciting new opportunity for artists or artist teams with public art experience to create permanent artwork along International Avenue (17 Avenue SE), between 26 Street SE and Elliston Park. We are seeking artists who have significant experience with, and relationship to this area in Calgary.

Two different artists or artist teams will be hired to work on two sites (Site A and Site B) along International Avenue. Please refer to the RFQs (attached) for more information and details on how to apply. Artists will be hired based on qualifications and past experience. Please do not submit a project proposal/design concepts or prices at this time.

Submission Deadline: Friday, August 9, 2019, 4:30pm MST
Budget: $45,500 CAD (maximum, all-inclusive)
Installation: Q2 2020
