We are excited to announce that with the support of the Rozsa Foundation and Calgary Arts Development, we are able to launch a year of online programming. Over the next year, we are excited to announce the following virtual series. Community Conversations Artist Nights A community gathering of local, national and international analogue photographers to come together and discuss a themed topic, learn from others in the community, and discuss the latest in traditional analogue processes. Cost: Free, or pay what you can/donation Capacity: TBD Dates: August 21, 2020, 6:00 – 7:30pm MDT October 2020 January 2021 April 2021 Community Artist Critique Nights Each three-hour virtual session will be monitored by two professional artists who will engage participants who are photographers looking for professional critical reviews on their artwork. Each participant will present four to six photographs to the group and critically discuss with feedback from the professional artists. Cost: $60 Capacity: Six each evening Dates: August 29, 2020 10:00am – 1:00pm MDT November 2020 February 2021 May 2021 Lectures & Panel Discussions Artist panel discussion and a professional artist presentation about varying topics in the traditional photography field. There will be a Q&A portion after the presentation. These lectures will later be released exclusively to Patreon for a year. Cost: $60 Capacity: TBD Dates: September 2020 March 2021 Written/Vlog Blog Reviews Artists reviewing traditional photography products, such as films, developer, darkroom equipment, cameras, and paper.
