Game Dev Meetup

On Tuesday, April 24, 2018, the Computational Media Design Program at the University of Calgary (CMD), together with representatives of the Canada Media Fund, will host an event designed for those interested in computer game development.

Co-sponsored by Digital Alberta, GameCamp Alberta, Calgary Game Developers, Walkthrough Society of Interactive Arts in Alberta, and the Canada Media Fund, the event has three parts:

  • Bookable 30-minute one-on-one meetings with representatives from the Canada Media Fund (CMF) to discuss funding game development/research projects.
  • One hour presentation from CMF about their funding programs in the digital arena.
  • A meet and greet in the party room of The Last Defence Lounge where we will gather to chat about games, game development and funding opportunities for your work.

The event is free of charge, but attendees are responsible for their own food/beverages at the meet and greet.
