Archived June 22, 2018 Communities in Bloom Symposium Legacy Art Project Strathcona County is hosting the Communities in Bloom National Symposium in September 2018 and is creating an edible garden and public art opportunity as a Legacy Project. The county invites artists or artist teams to propose an exterior sculpture/artwork/functional artwork to be incorporated into the garden which will be located in Broadmoor Lake Park in Sherwood Park. Due to the very short timelines for this project, the county is soliciting existing sculptures or functional artworks (eg. bench, table, etc.) for consideration. That said, proposals for new works will be considered if they can be completed and installed within the time line provided.
