Off-Country Events & Countdown Performances

Country Music Week is coming to Calgary from September 5 to 8, 2019. Country Music Week is made up of a number of components including a country music festival, an industry conference and the Canadian Country Music Awards show featuring Canada’s best and brightest country music stars.

This year, Country Music Week is inviting the wider music community to get involved by applying to showcase at one of the several countdown performances and off-country events. Country Music Week countdown performances will take place at the YYC airport and Calgary transit stations while the off-country events will take place along Music Mile. The countdown performances will be open to Calgary country and roots artists while the off-country events will be open to artists of all genres and styles.

Be a part of the energy during Country Music Week by applying to perform. All performers and bands will be compensated for their performances and there is no fee to apply.

The deadline to apply is Thursday, August 8, 2019, 4:30pm. Performers will be considered for opportunities at the time they apply, so apply early!
