Festival Ambassador

This is a jack of all trades role that will keep you on your toes in a fast-paced and fun environment. Large groups of participants (i.e. bands and choirs) need assistance on where to set-up, place their instruments, and when it is their turn to perform. This role assists these groups as well as provides auxiliary assistance to the rest of the volunteer roles.

Duties

Event coordination for large groups (bands, orchestra and choral), give timing checks to ensure smooth run-of-show, provide answers to key festival questions, relieve other volunteer positions of breaks and general office administrative tasks.

Dates: April 15, 2019, to May 4, 2019

Location: Mount Royal Universit Campus/Bethany Chapel

Shift Options:

  • Weekday (Monday – Friday)
    • Morning (9:00am – 12:00pm)
    • Afternoon (1:00 – 4:00pm)
    • Evening (5:00 – 8:00pm)
  • Saturday (Only April 27 & May 4, 2019)
    • Morning (9:00am – 12:00pm)
    • Afternoon (1:00 – 4:00pm)

Commitment

Standard volunteer commitment is a minimum of three shifts during the festival season, most shifts range from three to four hours.
