Archived March 8, 2019 Classroom Host As one of the faces of the festival, you ensure that classes are not interrupted by controlling access to the performance room, ensure participants are in the correct location for performances and provide key festival information. Duties Answer questions and give directions; control access to classroom space while performances take place to ensure there is no outside interruptions. Dates: April 15 – May 4, 2019 Location: Mount Royal University Campus Shift Options: Weekday, Monday – Friday Morning (9:00am – 12:00pm) Afternoon (1:00 – 4:00pm) Evening (5:00 – 8:00pm) Saturday (Only April 27, May 4, 2019 Morning (9:00am – 12:00pm) Afternoon (1:00 – 4:00p) This job is the right fit if you: Are friendly and helpful. Have a book (or knitting project) on the go. Have a good sense of direction. Enjoy providing information to the public. Prefer independent work. Commitment Standard volunteer commitment is a minimum of three shifts during the festival season, most shifts range from three to four hours.
