Concert Volunteer

The thrill of being on the stage is entrancing, but you are happier making sure the show goes smoothly! You are highly organized and also enjoy working in a fast-paced and changing environment. This position requires the ability to stay calm and efficient while emotions run high during performance day, you will be the person performers look to for assistance and information.

Duties: Event coordination for concerts (musical theatre, speech, final STARS concert), provide timing checks for run-of-show, assist performers with stage setup, ensure open communication between stage techs, ushers and festival staff.

Dates:

  • Showcases: May 3, 2019
  • Final Concert: May 4, 2019

Location: Wright and Leacock Theatres, Bella Concert Hall (all on Mount Royal University’s campus)

Shift Options

  • May 3, 2019, 3:00 – 9:00pm (shift length may vary)
  • May 4, 2019, 3:00 – 9:00pm (shift length may vary)

Commitment: Volunteer commitment for a concert volunteer is both concerts at about six hours each.
