Educational Opportunities October 6, 2021 Creative Wellness Program Youth Edition Empowering youth to make connections, natural mentorship and grief and loss support related to missing out. Do you have a child 13 to 19? We have an online creative program created for youth who are experiencing stress and anxiety. This is an arts-based mindful workshop series offering a unique way for youth to connect and learn to regulate emotions. We welcome youth to share, express, connect, play, learn (unlearn), and work towards improving their overall wellness. Throughout the program we focus on self, connection, advocacy and compassion through creativity, connection, writing, and discussions. Week 1: Online Parent/Guardian Session Date: Thursday, October 14, 2021, 6:00 – 8:30pm For parents/guardians to experience first hand creative wellness to help empathize with youth as they progress through the program. Weeks 2 – 8: Online Seven Youth Sessions Dates: Thursdays, October 21 – December 2, 2021, 6:00 – 8:00pm Last session: 6:00 – 8:30pm Each weekly youth session will combine opportunity to engage with the members in the group, connect through creative exercises and discussion.
