The Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers (CSIF) is seeking nominations to the Board of Directors from our members. We are seeking qualified candidates to play a role in the stewardship and development of our organization. Qualified candidates will have the skill sets, experience and resources necessary to assist us in the sustainable, transparent, and efficient governance of Calgary’s premiere film cooperative.

CSIF Board of Directors meet on a monthly basis. As of CSIF bylaw changes in 2017, the term of our Board Members can be both one year or two years in length. Our Board of Directors consists of at least 50% practising independent filmmakers and represents the interests of the Calgary independent film community.

Interested candidates are asked to please submit a letter of intent along with a CV/Resume to Executive Director Barry Thorson at director@csif.org. Please also include whether you’d like to be considered for a one-year term or a two-year term.
