The Globe Cinema is looking for a professional, organized, and motivated part-time Customer Service Attendant with a deep interest in the arts and cinema.

About the Globe

As a classic movie house, we are dedicated to bringing Calgarians quality films of all varieties and are proud to participate in many of the annual film festivals this city has to offer.  We facilitate and support the local arts community and are of an inclusive and diverse mindset.

We are located in downtown Calgary on 8th Ave. SW, between 5th and 6th street, one block from the 6th street LRT station.

Position/Duties:

• Responsible for all cash, credit, and debit transactions for box office and concession.
• Facility maintenance such as cleaning cinemas and concession stand.
• General office duties.
• Food and alcohol handling.
• Providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

• Team oriented.
• Enjoys working in a fast-paced, guest service environment.
• Available to work late on weekends and some late weeknights.
• Flexible availability.
• Previous cinema experience an asset.
• Minimum commitment of six-months.
