Job Title: Capital Design Coordinator
Classification: Contract
Location: PM Corporate
Reports to: Director, Corporate Design

Responsibilities: 

  • Drafting of floor plans for show suites, leasing office redesign, common areas, and amenities.
  • Assist the design team with show suite furniture selection, procurement, and staging.
  • Assist team as necessary with Rebranding Project Design Implementation in Edmonton and Calgary – Parkside Tower, Royal Park Plaza, Beltline Towers, etc.
  • Assist the design team and operations team with layouts/re-design of turn-key suites (drawings, site visits, cabinetry layout review, etc.
  • Assist design team with quality assurance implementation on rebranding projects.
  • Suites and common areas.
  • Assist design team with all additional tasks as required.

Experience and Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum five years of experience.
  • Experience and passion for interior design.
  • Design experience an asset.
  • Bachelor of Applied Interior Design preferred.

Technical Requirements:

  • CAD or drafting software experience required.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.

Non-Technical Requirements: 

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare, present, and communicate with all levels of associates including senior executive.
  • Ability to learn new concepts quickly, and become proficient in a variety of skills and disciplines. Willingness to adapt to change and be flexible in nature.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills coupled with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Ability to work independently and with other associates in a team environment.
  • Displays a high level of initiative and commitment to excellence.
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude, enthusiasm and assertiveness.
  • Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service to fellow associates and project team partners.
  • Dedicated to building better communities for all our customers.
  • Travel will be required.
