Archived July 5, 2018 Development Coordinator Deadline to Apply: July 27, 2018 Support the Donor Relations Manager and the Development Officer in specific, and the department in general, with a focus on fund development processes for donor renewal and donor acquisition. Duties and Responsibilities: Secure appointments and manage the moves management calls process for the Development Officer. Provide administrative support to the Development Department including mailings, data entry, meeting minutes, etc. Administer all donor payment processes including tax receipting. Assist Donor Relations Manager with stewardship recognition and stewardship activities, including all contracted benefits and recognition delivery. Coordinate volunteer activity as required, specifically front of house, public events, and casinos. Work with corporate sponsors to engage their volunteer corps. Coordinator Jubilee FOH activities for mainstage productions including volunteers, Opera Shop, and lobby animation, as well as act as FOH liaison with Jubilee. Coordinate the annual fundraising raffle. Coordinate silent auction component on annual fundraising rvent (Opera Gala). Produce reports as required. Qualifications: College degree and 2+ years of related experience. Not-for-profit experience a plus. Thorough understanding and ability to use Window based Microsoft office programs. Experience with Tessitura a plus. Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills. Ability to adapt to new software programs. Knowledge of fundraising and the arts.
