Digital Media Mentor/Instructor

Footprints Dance Project is looking to contract Digital Media Mentors/Instructors for our 2018 student afterschool program.

Program Structure: The program runs monthly Mondays and Fridays, 5:30 to 7:30pm at the Shaganappi Auditorium (3415 8th Ave. SW).

Compensation:

  • Teaching rate is $40/hr.
  • Preparation and meeting rate $20/hr.

Applicants for this position will undergo screening: interview, reference checks, police checks, and employment history checks.

The cost of these background checks will be the responsibility the organization.

Mentor/Instructor Responsibilities

Footprints deliver performing arts programs to those who otherwise would not have such opportunities due to social, gender, economic, bodily or psychological barriers.

Instructors must demonstrate a sincere interest in assisting persons from disadvantaged backgrounds. Working with other instructors and the Artistic Producer, each instructor is responsible for program planning, set-up, delivery and reporting on student sessions.
