Archived January 7, 2019 Drawing & Painting Wolves With Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary The date for this educational opportunity has passed. Join art instructor and wolf enthusiast Ashley Gaboury on an artistic adventure. During the first class, we will be enjoying an interactive tour of the Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary to collect reference materials and to get a better understanding of the Wolfdogs (you will be taken into the enclosure). During the second class, we will meet at the Okotoks Art Gallery Studio to draw and paint these beautiful creatures. During this unique experience, you will be encouraged to develop a piece of artwork as individual as the wolfdogs. We will utilize mark-making as well as other valuable techniques to add depth to your wildlife art. Ages 15+, teens and adults welcome. Carpools will be arranged to visit the sanctuary. Some drawing/painting experience preferred. A portion of class proceeds will be donated back to the sanctuary.
