Embroidery for Mindfulness

Join us for a virtual embroidery session on Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at 6pm.

Embroidery is a powerful form of art-therapy that can have a transformative effect on those who participate in it. In this one-hour online session, participants will have the opportunity to use embroidery as a means of self-expression and exploration.

The session will begin with a short guided meditation, designed to help participants relax and focus their minds on the present moment. They will then be encouraged to choose a design or image that speaks to them personally and start embroidering it onto their fabric.

As they stitch, participants will be able to explore their creativity, practice mindfulness, and connect with their inner selves. The process of embroidery can be deeply therapeutic, as it provides a means of expressing oneself through a tangible and tactile medium. By the end of the session, participants will have a beautiful, handcrafted piece of art that represents their unique inner world.

This art-therapy session is ideal for anyone who is looking to explore their creativity and engage in a mindful, meditative practice. Embroidery is a versatile and accessible medium that anyone can enjoy, regardless of their previous experience with art. Whether you are looking to unwind after a stressful day or seeking a new form of self-expression, this embroidery art-therapy session is an excellent choice.
