Event & Venue Support Staff
cSPACE Projects is looking for an enthusiastic, customer-experience minded individual who will bring positivity and energy to the cSPACE Arts Hub. This person will collaborate with our team to support our community building ambitions.
This role is a part of our events team, supporting a wide range of creatives — musicians, dancers, photographers etc. — with tasks such as Studio Theatre set up, art installations & exhibitions, and overall community building. Reporting to the events manager, the event & venue support staff role is integral to the success of events and evening/weekend operations at cSPACE Marda Loop, as well as supporting our tenant community of non-profit and arts organizations.
Ideal Candidates for This Position Would:
- Be passionate about the arts and creative place making.
- Have strong customer-service skills; creating a welcoming safe environment for our clients and patrons.
- Be an independent worker.
- Have a keen eye for detail when overseeing the building and events — the needs of the clients.
- Custodial duties, as required for effective operations.
- Be available on evening and weekends.
- Be comfortable navigating basic digital platforms and some AV knowledge (training will also be provided).
