Exhibit at Art Now

Art Calgary invites applications from all emerging, mid-career and established artists to be represented in our booth at Art Now—Saskatchewan Fine Art Fair.

Art Calgary will have a booth at the third annual Art Now Saskatchewan Fine Art Fair. Featuring premiere commercial art galleries, Art Now attracts over 3,500 visitors over the three-day show.

Dates: September 20 – 23, 2018
Location: Prairieland Park (503 Ruth St. W, Saskatoon)

What is Provided:

  • Transportation and insurance of artwork to and from Saskatoon.
  • Art Calgary representatives will be in the booth for the duration of Art Now (no need for individual artists to be present).
  • Art Now’s exhibition quality booth space and lighting.
  • Promotion via appropriate media channels and social media by Art Calgary and Art Now.
  • Exposure to collectors and professional galleries outside of Alberta.

Cost to Exhibitors:

  • A flat fee of $450 per accepted artist.
  • No sales commissions will be taken.

Application deadline is May 25, 2018.

Applications must include:

  • Contact information including name, phone number, mailing address and email.
  • CV (maximum three pages).
  • Artist statement.
  • Artist’s website, Instagram handle and Facebook page (if applicable).
  • 10 to 15 JPEGs representing your current work. Images must be a maximum of 2MB and minimum of 300DPI. Be sure the image file names correspond to your image list.
  • Image list including title, size in inches, medium, date created and price (artwork must be for sale).

The jury will review all applications fairly, selecting artists based on the quality of the artworks and of the application as a whole. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Art Calgary will only exhibition new, original artwork and will not display reproductions, craft or decorative arts.

Successful applications will be notified by June 1, 2018.

Deadline for payment is June 15, 2018.
