We are looking for volunteers for the Femme Wave 2019 festival which runs Thursday, November 7 to Sunday, November 10, 2019.

We are looking for support with:

  • Door sales
  • Merch sales
  • Safer spaces representatives (training required and provided for this role).

About Femme Wave

Femme Wave is Calgary’s first and only multi-disciplinary feminist arts festival with a mission to create a safe, positive, and inclusive space for women and non-binary artists. The fifth annual Femme Wave Feminist Arts Festival is scheduled for November 7 to 10, 2019 across various venues in downtown Calgary.

Land Acknowledgement

Femme Wave acknowledges Calgary as the traditional territory of the Blackfoot and the people of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, which includes the Siksika, the Piikani, the Kainai, the Tsuut’ina and the Ĩyãħé Nakoda First Nations, including the Chiniki, Bearspaw and Wesley First Nations. Calgary is also home to Métis Nation of Alberta, Region III.
