We’re spending the evening watching Chitra Ganesh’s animations, while also testing our own skills as animators through doodling and flipbook making. We’ll be asking ourselves some important questions: Whether things that appear in sequence always tell a story? How do we create mystery in our work? What can we gain by adding animated elements to two-dimensional work? And who here remembers Spy vs. Spy? This workshop is presented in conjunction with the Chitra Ganesh: Astral Dance exhibition.
