Call for Workshops & Vendors

FrogFest is hoppening June 29 to July 2, 2018.

FrogFest Music and Arts Society is a registered non-profit society in Alberta. The festival occurs annually on the Canada Day long weekend in the beautiful boreal forest of Clearwater County, Alberta. A stage emerges from the flora, featuring local independent artists and stunning art installations. FrogFest proudly focuses on community, sustainability, and inclusiveness. It is a chance for people to connect in a natural setting that supports metamorphosis on a cultural level.

Workshops

We are looking for talented and experienced individuals to host workshops! We listened to you and we’re so happy to be creating space for new and exciting experiences for our attendees. Please note that we currently have room for four workshops to take place over the weekend: one-morning workshop and one afternoon workshop on both Saturday and Sunday.

To apply, please send the following information to media@frogfest.ca:

  • Describe your workshop! What form will the event take? What will participants get from the event? How long will the workshop be? What are the minimum and the maximum number of the people the workshop can accommodate? What materials will be needed or supplied and are they eco-friendly? Are there any safety concerns?
  • Your bio including your training and background.
  • You preferred time slot am (before music starts) or pm?
  • Alternative plans in case of inclement weather.
  • Photos of past workshops, if available.

Vendors

FrogFest curates a small vendor market for its attendees. Examples in the past have included massage therapy, clothing, and jewellery. Although we do not have set hours for the market, we do expect vendors to be available at their table during peak hours of the daytime.

Vendor Requirements:

  • Must be fully self sufficient.
  • Must supply their own table.
  • Must provide their own register system and float.
  • Must bring their own lighting (inquire about limits).
  • Will make their own hours.

FrogFest is not responsible for any loss, stolen goods, or damages.

Vendor tables cost $300 and include two tickets to FrogFest.
