Gordon Hamilton will show a variety of puzzles designed for elementary school classrooms as well as talk about the challenges and triumphs of board game design. Gordon Hamilton (MMath, PhD) is a board game and puzzle designer. He founded MathPickle.com in 2010 to project ideas of mathematics education. This website is now supported by the American Institute of Mathematics to design puzzles for the K-12 classroom. Gordon’s game, Santorini (released 2017) is now rated as one of the top family games on boardgamegeek.com.
