General Manager

The Mount Royal Choral Association (MRCA) is seeking to fill the position of General Manager for the 2016/17 season.

Highlights Include:

  • Distribute regular communication to parents and choristers, by email and on the choir websites.
  • Maintain paper and digital files for the MRCA in an orderly and secure manner.
  • Collect and maintain accurate information for choristers, parents and guardians, including contact and emergency information.
  • Coordinate volunteers for choir and MRCA events.
  • Coordinate grant application process, in collaboration with Artistic staff and the MRCA Board of Directors.
  • Maintain a summary and organized records of all foundations and government agencies to which the MRCA applies for grants.
  • Attend the MRCA Board of Directors meetings, reporting on registration and operational updates from the choirs.

Time Commitment:

  • The General Manager is a permanent, part-time role.
  • Approximately 10 hours per week to complete deliverables.
  • Work hours are flexible, outside of the requirement to attend all evening rehearsals and weekend events.
