Position Title: Graphic Design Assistant
Position Type: Internship
Sled Island is seeking a creative and dedicated individual for the position of graphic design assistant. This internship is an exciting opportunity for an emerging graphic designer to contribute to a high-profile, multifaceted marketing campaign for the annual independent music and arts festival.
Reporting to the marketing manager, the successful applicant will use the festival’s 2020 visual identity to design posters, ads, web graphics, and other items as needed.
This is a part-time position, with approximately seven hours of work per week from mid-February to mid-June, 2020. Hours may be concentrated in a single day or spread across multiple days depending on the successful candidate’s availability.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Good knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign.
- Strong time management skills.
- Attention to details.
- Creativity.
Compensation: $1,000 honorarium and a festival pass to attend Sled Island 2020, plus other perks (such as free admission to various cultural events in the city).
