Graphic Design

We are looking for someone to manage the graphic and design work for the Northern Reflections Window Exhibition. This would be a full graphic strategy that is consistent across graphic elements and mediums. We will be working in AR (augmented reality), print, product, social, web, and mobility platforms.

The theme for 2018 Northern Reflections will be Electric Winter. The theme is looking to include bold colours, bright lights, and music with the windows. It will be a mix of the cold winter whites with colourful plays of bright lights and imagery.
NRWE graphics to use gradients in both bright colours and winter blues/whites. Imagery to be cold icy images with bright reflective modern colours.
Basic scope and schedule are as follows:

- Call to artists poster (image for mailer/Instagram/web)
June
- Artist roster booklet
- Augle download card for Northern Reflections
- T-shirts with AR
- Northern Reflections banner (for display on Stephen Ave. gates)
- Northern Reflections poster with AR
September
- Map
- Awards reception program
- Awards reception Facebook banner
- Graphics/animation for the videos (promo video and recap video)
- Vinyl window sticker awards (with AR)
- Large A-frame signs (up to 10, additional charged hourly)
Total contract fees for the above scope of work is $3,000.
The work will be exciting, artful, and highly visible. Learn about AR (augmented reality), work with a dynamic team, work your own hours, and gain valuable experience.
Our ideal candidate is a talented individual that can work across multiple mediums. Our ideal visual artist would be able to work in 3D (Cinema 4D, Unity) and be able to create motion graphics. Experience with web design, UX, and product design an asset.
