In Full Bloom Call

A celebration of artwork by and about women

Seeking visual art submissions from artists who identify as women and who are living and practising in the Calgary region of Alberta.

This exhibition will take place at the ATB Branch for Arts + Culture on Stephen Avenue (102 8th Ave. SW) from mid-January to the end of March 2023. The exhibition reception will take place on March 8, 2023, to coincide with International Women’s Day — a global day of recognition that celebrates women’s and girls’ social, economic, cultural and political achievements and draws attention to the work still needed to be done to achieve gender equality and safety for all women and girls.

In Full Bloom: A celebration of artwork by and about women will focus on artwork that celebrates the creative practices of women with an emphasis on female- and nature-inspired imagery and narratives.

Exhibition submissions are open to both 2D and 3D artwork (including painting, drawing, photography, mixed media, sculpture, ceramics, fibre art, beading, glasswork, fashion and jewelry).
