Call for Local Indigenous Crafters

National Indigenous Peoples Day

Designed to raise cultural awareness within the City of Calgary and to celebrate contemporary achievements of Indigenous people in Canada, Aboriginal Awareness Week Calgary has developed into what it is today through the dedication and commitment of its volunteers. Aboriginal Awareness Week runs from June 18 to 24, 2023.

We are seeking local Indigenous crafters for the National Indigenous Family Day and Powwow on Saturday, June 24 at Enmax Park, Calgary Stampede.

Date: Saturday, June 24, 2023 from 9am to 6pm
Location: Enmax Park, Calgary Stampede
Cost: $50 plus one item from their table as a donation

  • Must bring own pop up tent (10’x10′ max) and chairs
  • Includes 1 table
